About Us
Melanie Gabel
- founder/principal broker
“This is not just a job to me. It’s a lifestyle and a passion. I love serving my community by helping others find homes for themselves and their families. Investing in a home is a big decision – most likely the largest purchase of one’s life. And I am humbled and grateful whenever I get to be part of that process alongside prospective home buyers.”
Melanie obtained her real estate license in 2005 and became a real estate broker in 2009. Prior to establishing Gabel Realty, she spent more than 18 years at Lindsey and Associates. There, she was one of the youngest brokers and senior vice presidents in the history of the company. A well-established realtor in the Northwest Arkansas community, Melanie is consistently recognized as one of the Top 25 Realtors in Northwest Arkansas by the NWA Business Journal. She has reached over $330 million in real estate sales during her career.
A native of Fayetteville, Melanie obtained a B.S. in nursing from the University of Arkansas before becoming a realtor. She lives in Fayetteville with her husband, Jimmy, two daughters, Addison and Emily, and their dog, Millie. She enjoys spending time with her family at Beaver Lake, traveling, cooking, and entertaining.
JANA-WRENAY ELKINS
- Executive Broker
“My focus is on serving clients in ways that build relationships and our community. I love introducing people to NWA and connecting them with the people and places that make this area so special. This approach has brought so many amazing, wonderful people into my life over the years that I now call most of them friends rather than clients.”
Jana-Wrenay has been specializing in residential real estate since 2003 and working in the NWA market since 2005. She spent 19 years with Lindsey & Associates before joining us. Prior to her departure, she served as a senior vice president and executive broker and worked with many members of the Gabel Realty the team. Jana-Wrenay has been among the top-selling agents for the past 10 years. She has also received various awards throughout her career, including Best Realtor from Celebrate! Arkansas magazine and Diamond and Double Diamond awards from Northwest Arkansas Board of REALTORS®.
A native of Fayetteville, she graduated from the University of Arkansas with a degree in education and taught middle school in Oklahoma for several years before returning to her hometown to pursue a real estate career. She enjoys spending free time with her family – husband Chris and their five children Jackson, Walker, Bennett, Ella, and Chance – and friends. She supports all the Razorback sports teams and loves to travel.
Ericka Tull
- Sales Associate
“Growing up around the real estate business, I’ve always loved the excitement that came with it. It is such a multi-faceted industry. The environment is always evolving and there are opportunities to learn new things every day. Plus, I love meeting new people and helping them work through all the details to ensure their real estate wants and needs are met.”
Ericka has been working in the industry for eight years. Before working with Melanie, she spent three years with a property management company in an administrative assistant role. When the opportunity to work for a busy and successful real estate agent came her way, she jumped in and soon realized real estate was her forever job. A few short years after joining Melanie’s team, Ericka was inspired to further her career. She obtained her real estate license in 2022.
Born and raised in Fayetteville, Arkansas, Ericka moved away a few times, but she keeps coming back and is now here to stay. She loves getting together and spending time with her big family and countless good friends. Ericka and her husband enjoy cooking, music, taking trips, and watching sports, especially the Razorbacks.
PAXTON POPE
- Sales Associate
“One thing I love about being a realtor is forming connections with the community. It takes a lot of people to get a deal to the closing table – potential buyers or sellers, other realtors, lenders, inspectors, home stagers, and more. Every individual involved in this process is as unique as the deal itself, and the experience of working together to make it happen is so rewarding.”
Paxton began her real estate career as an assistant about three years ago. Pursuing her residential real estate license in 2023 after graduating from the University of Arkansas was an easy choice. Native to Fayetteville, she is well acquainted with the fast-growing area and loves connecting with people, going out of her way to make each client feel comfortable throughout each step of their home buying, selling, or leasing process.
Paxton enjoys the fast pace of real estate and appreciates the day-to-day challenges that help her to grow and strengthen her skills in the industry. In her free time, she can be found spending time with family and friends around Northwest Arkansas – exploring new restaurants, going on walks, attending concerts at the Walmart AMP, and heading to the lake in the summertime.
